VTT Stage 3 x ABR Punisher Built Motor
The "Punisher" built motor from ABR Houston arrived yesterday. This thread will document the installation, and results as we this project progresses. we want to give a HUGE thanks to Alex over at ABR, one of the best guys in this platform to work with. Since the production kits are nearing completion rather than continuing to test the limits of the stock motor we will be putting the first Stage 3 kit on this built motor with our GTX2867 option into the shop car. Once we get it all installed, and tested we will then be move onto the new Garrett GTX2871's which have 1100BHP worth of flow. Things are going to get very interesting! Wow....I havent been following the update on the big stage 3 vargas turbos since I bought my 2010 ProCharged Z06 almost a year back...After I sold my Rb'd 335i and moved on to more power its almost as dangerous as getting hooked on a drug making 791rwhp and basically having NO ISSUES, pull after pull!! One thing is though, its not near as much fun as when I had my 335i since I was way more hands on with my 335i with custom backend flashes and with the JB4 stacked on top giving me the opportunity to "tune" my car with the help of Terry, Wedge, and myself sending emails back and forth of different logs and changes to those logs to make the car "happy"...Now that the N54's are starting to progress onto bigger power levels than last year, this time of the year, I might want to look at getting me another N54 based motor to have some fun with
Cant imagine the way a built n54 with big twin T's can actually do but it would be very fun to be apart of putting it all together to make it work correctly, pull after pull, with ZERO ISSUES. I think Vargas might be making me have a change of heart towards the N54's "tap out" limit and I would love to be apart of exploring just how far the N54 platform can go! Good work Vargas!!! Hopefully you guys can get everything setup and up and running like a rocket!
