Question Wha'ts wrong with my Car...?

Guys, I don't know what's wrong with my car? I don't know if its "Limp Mode."

My car is completely stock.

Here is the problem:

Off turns or anything along those lines, my car for some reason pauses or like dies for couple of seconds and then picks up speed?

My traction signal goes off, but I don't think it becuase I lose traction?

Is it Limp Mode? What should I do?

Thanx,

///AFRO

If the traction light goes off that obviously means you dont have traction and the car will cut power so you can re-gain traction to start moving again.

Why do you doubt that the flashing traction signal means that you are losing traction? If it was limp home mode you would see a CEL and the picture of the engine with a diagonal line through it.

Don't go searching for problems.

The 335's traction control system is aggressive, compared to some on other cars. It will cut power considerably. It doesn't sound like you have anything else going on.

BUt I hate that. I hate when the power gets cut off? People that take their 335i's to the track don't get this problem? Doesn't that bother you guys when your on the track?

no because on track i turn traction control off so the car wont cut the power when i start sliding a little bit.

And this proves the point of having traction control on. So you wont "almost hit the sidewalk and land in the light pole".

No...I leave my traction control on at the track and never have a problem. The issue is NOT the traction control, it is the loose nut behind the wheel. My best advice to you is LEAVE IT ON!!!!!

BUt, dont you think that's a little dangerous, on a track and street? I completey pressed down on DTC and DSC. And I took a heavy turn and lost control of my car, I took a light turn and I like kinda skid and I regained control but its still dangerous. One little mistake your fucked.
