PROcede V2 progress ?
Hi,
We have end of January soon and I would like to know about the project status of v2.0.3. - Some users still experience limp modes shifting at redline, will it be corrected ? - Has the speed limit defeat tested from Vishnu and is it working without DME error entries ? - When will dedicated maps for the 6AT 335i's be available again ? And finally: When will v2.1 be available and which additional functions can we expect ? The current V2 implementation is pretty stable already. Vishnu did a good job further developing the PROcede. I would like to use it as my definitely engine tuning. Thank you in advance for your feedback. Ciao, Eugen |

Didnt now they are still limps by shifting at redline. Does that apply to MT, AT or both? Yes, we need to know the features and availability for v2.1, some of us still have V2 out of the car yet, will be nice to know when is it going to be out so we load it/install it with the newer map. Thanks

I still limp on a cold start. Car doesn't seem to want to go past 3k rpm on a cold start, it would limp right away. Hope the next upgrade fixes these issues. Anybody else experiencing jerking??

Have anyone else had it besides him?
IMO, I would not call that an official "limp due to shifting at redline" since he could not replicate the problem not even once, and have shifted in redline many times before without getting limp.

The great things with the PROcede are UT, speed limiter defeat, loadable firmware and maps and data logging. As well as the rugged hardware. It is the only N54 engine tuning piggyback solution providing these attributes. However, it has to be as stable as the Dinan flash. I believe the PROcede can achieve this but it is not there. More R&D is still needed, IMO.

I agree with you. PROcede is a complex piggyback, same thing happens to complex application/software, they implement a new feature and boom! a new bugs comes out. Whereas, simple apps/software most of the time dont have problems at all. Example of this is Windows' Notepad VS Microsoft Word, they have beens so many bugs for Word, it is not a joke.
If our car was ever connected to the internet, the procede would have been exploited many times lol.

I've been running the 1-10 updated maps and have not had any problems. I'm running a 335 AT 94% 94Oct and hitting about 14.2PSI in 20F temps. No Limps. I unplugged for an hour and let it addapt. Seem like everything is good...so far. (Until someone looses and eye)
