Warranty: tire road hazard protection
Anyone take advantage of the tire road hazard protection warranty while they had it? Any good recommendations on tires when my warranty expires.
Thanks! |

I just cancelled mine. I calculated it, $1300 for 5 yrs protection. I don't mind non RFTs, tires for my car is about $500 a set with install for non runflats. That's 2 sets of tires! Run flats usually wear faster and the warranty won't pay for tire wearing. The piece of mind is the reason why I purchased mine a few months ago due to the lack of a spare tire. But after reading posts, I found out E60 spares should be OK for our e90s. Cost me $200 for a spare and all the tools it came with from a local junkyard.
I think if you live in an area where there are unconstructed roads maybe the warranty is worth it. But I live in south florida and of the 10+ Yrs I've driven I've had 2 flats. So I suggest taking your location and driving habits into consideration. Some people will use it, others wont. |
Appreciate
