hey everyone,

just had a check engine light on my car which i found odd.

brought it to the dealer and had them do a diagnostic check. they discovered that my DMTL pump wiring was worn and corroded.

so, they ended up replacing the wiring and ended up paying $55 for parts and $320 for labour.

my question is... what is this DMTL pump thing? i've done a search on the forums but seems like i can't find an explanation to see what it actually is. also, is this type of maintenance/issue normal?

Pretty sure its part of the emissions system. I had an error message come up a few times and my indy told me it pressurizes the fuel tank. That's all I know..

Did you get a CEL and then it randomly disappeared some time later...?
