Normal @ 50,600 miles?

So just switch my rear tires (I take the rear pass and put it on the rear driver and take the rear driver and put it on the rear pass). I noticed my rear pass tread had more wear then the rear driver so doing this every 5K miles or so might prevent one tire from wearing out too fast.

While I had the tires out, I inspected the rear brake and noticed very little wear on the rear brake pads. Is it normal or the pad is a high quality brake pad? I am not complaining just wondering about the quality of the 330 brake.

Pics 1 and 2 are the rear pass. Pic 3 is the rear driver.

That is what I was thinking, like a wuss. But my car might disagreed
I have replaced all four tires though.

Why, you don't believe me?

They are original oem (never been replaced). I do brake because I find myself cleaning the brake dust off the rim alot. I forgot to tell you I have 6mt too.

At this rate, I might be able to hit 100K miles before I replace my brake pads.

The MAJORITY of your braking power is in the front, even with the weight balance. On all my cars, I rarely, if ever, have had to replace rear pads in the lifetime of the vehicle.

Actually, I got my rears replaced a couple of months ago at about 25k miles. I was quite puzzled as to why my rears were running out at considerable faster rate to my fronts. Some folks hinted I might be setting off the DSC one too many times (). Now at 31k miles I'm 5k away from having to get my fronts replaced.

tx, maybe you're just blessed in having to not do daily routine city bumper-to-bumper traffic

People that track their cars with DSC definately notice more wear on the rears...
