M3 rep bumper– will OEM M3 license plate fit?

I searched and no luck. I just installed the M3 replica and the license plate holder from my stock bumper does not fit. Does anyone know if I can use the OEM M3 holder?

It should. The only difference with the real M3 bumper is the width.

Why not use the license plate holder that screws into the front tow hook?

Thanks. I don't like the JDM look of the tow hook mounts.

use L-brackets and mount it from under the lower opening. that will allow you to not have to drill into the bumper visibly but still run a plate to keep law enforcement happy
