Otto's is expanding. New dealership "BMW of Exton" opens in February. This will be a full service dealership.

Location is Business Rt 30, near Rt 100.

I am told they are planning a "soft opening" this Monday, Feb 4th with the grand opening date to be announced.

Well guys, I am going to head there today. I need an inspection, so I will stop by and see if I can see who my new SA is going to be. This place is not far from me, so I will not have to go to the WC location any more.

I will let you know if they are open yet or not.

you are going to be the dealership for an inspection = $100

Guys, they aren't open yet as far as I know. I drove by on Friday and they were WELL shy of opening from the looks of things. There was a little cardboardish sign out on the grass, and inside was re-done drywalling, lights, etc, but no furniture or anything.
I keep tabs on this for two reasons. A) That place was Town Motors, which USED to be my Jeep dealer...then one day I go to drive it to get service and it's GONE. Found out it was Otto's #2 then. Also, it's closer to me than Otto's #1, and the drive down 202 is a PITA...so yay Exton!

I'm curious if those of us who bought from Otto's will receive full loaner priveldges at Exton, like we get at WC. I would think so, since they are BOTH Otto's.

At the Philly Auto Show last night 2 Otto's employees were working the BMW booth. I talked to both about opening and loaners.

1) Should be open March-April timeframe
2) Ottos of West Chester and Exton are considered 1 dealership, so we will have FULL privelages getting loaners if we service our cars at either location.

I can't wait for Otto's of Exton to open!!

Well, ezatnova was correct. They are far from being open. There was nothing there other then a BMW sign. What a disappointment.....

Matt_335CI - When I got the car, I negotiated.

When I realized they were not going to move the price any lower, I started working on freebee service. Got one free oil change the first year of ownership (above with what comes with the car, and I did that at 2400 miles) and one free inspection beyond the one that initially came with the car. I used something along the line of "If the car is so good, maintenance is free, I am doing a PCD so no prep time for your dealership, so there there should be nothing that I have to pay after one year, right? So.. come on, what can you do for me."

And the guy came back with the above offer. Not great, but not bad either.

I went on Tuesday and should have posted an update. Maybe we should go there for a meet. At least then there would be some BMW's on the lot!

If we want to do it with the grand opening, then we need that date.
If we want to meet there before they start loading the lot, then we probably should do it soon.

Or we could do both since we are all so close...

But whatever we choose, I suggest going to Victory afterwards!

Mark - rennovations are under way at VBC. They will be totally closed in May, then re-open in April. But they are open for now with some limitations.

Oh wow - I did not know that Victory was remodeling. Well, that might be a good thing.

Yea, I called and set up an appointment last week, and they told me they are starting to move cars up there. And sure enough, when I went by there this morning, there were some in the showroom.

It will be much nicer when we can go there for service instead of WC.....

What timing for me - I dropped my car off last night for an oil change, and what did I get as a loaner? A 335 xi coupe (aw over corel red) - it did great in the snow! It was a pleasent surprise.

Did you do the typical loaner thing and take off DTC and practice your drifting in the snow?
