My buddy form Chicago owns a A4 2.0T Quattro and would like to check out how the xi system works in the 335. Is there an 335xi owner in the Chicago area that can give my buddy a ride just for fun and kinda compare cars.

Power is not the point. He want to see how the xi does in the snow/wet vs the quattro.

I talked to my CA today and the car should be delivered around the 14th. It won't be entirely stock, but he should get the idea.

Car arrived in port yesterday, few days to have the aero kit installed and transferred here to Chicago so he says the 14th. Is your friend in a hurry? Depending on some factors, I may get it a few days earlier.

Apologies to your friend; tonight would have been a great night to test the all wheel drive. At least my EX handled it well.

got one but i'm way down south in bourbonnais (past orland park). it's done really well in the snow but had some slipping issues (very minor) with ice.

I dropped off a set of Dunlop Winter 3D's 235/40R18's all around yesterday morning to have the dealer put on the stock 189 rims. He predicts that I should have teh car Monday/Tuesday based upon Dinan's 3-4 day turnaround for the ECU reflash. Saw the car, still has the suspension block and all the wrapping on so even is the chip is back in a day or so, still has to be detailed. Should still be plenty of snow and crappy weather left in the Chicago winter.

I'm on 18" & 235/ too, but "all weather" tires. That might be a prety big difference since u got a nice set of winter tires, I was actually hoping you'll have the same as me, but whatever, lets see if we can get some snow ..

Do you have winter tires on yours?

I think we should find a place to meet, us and the 335xi guys, just to see if we can agree on a little place for when the snow is coming again. Best chance for some snow is Mon or Tue, Feb 25 & 26, if the weather channel is accurate.

I am really close to ohare airport, what about everyone else (that's interested in a snowy meeting)?
