DP CEL Fix

Is there a fix for the CEL if I don't have any tune(Procede, JB2, etc)?

When I had DP on my STi I had to splice the O2 bung wire and put a resister wire and thats it, anything like that for us? I don't want to hack in the ECU to fix the issue.

theres a few posts on this already. o2 sims for catless dp's will fix the cel which you can grab from terry. i believe that requires some re-wire or something along those lines.

also, someone posted a thread about some o2 spacers (supposedly mini cats?, no clue here and i don't think there spacers but thats what they look like lol) that will correct this as well. i can't find that thread..

If u don't want to go into the ECU, then your best bet is to go back to stock DPs...No other way

Yep, this is a common CEL fix for 02 sensors. The extra length on the nut just pulls the sensor out of the stream a bit, and makes it a less "offensive" reading.

Commonly called a "mechanical CEL fix" or a "mini-cat" it's really just an anti-fouler from autozone. Should cost about $3.00.

It's a great option compared to the $70 CEL simulators, and other more expensive fixes. At least, it was on other cars. I haven't heard a lot about them on here yet.
