Is my Xenon dying?

I've searched around for this problem but just keep coming up with links to blue headlight bulbs which really isn't help.

I've just noticed that my passenger side headlight is staying blue whilst the driver's side goes white when turned on. I haven't had them on for a long time to test whether the passenger side eventually turns white but I do know that previously they both went white almost instantly.

Is the passenger side bulb dying?

No faults on the iDrive screen on OBC yet.

How's the light output? Is there a dimming?

These bulbs aftermarket?
If so, it is possible you got a higher Kelvin number... I.e. drivers side is 6000k and passenger is 7000k+

The light output is fine; no change.

They're the same bulbs that were in when I bought the car so I can only assume they're original. They were both the same colour last time I checked.

Had them on for 10 mins earlier and the passenger side didn't go white once it was warm.

Is it likely to be the bulb? If so what Xenon bulbs does the LCI take? Is it D1S?

Usually they take on a purple hue when they're dying (speaking from past experience.)

If you want to be sure, swap bulbs.

Right, I've swapped the bulbs over (what a pain that was) and the issue is the same. Which side is faulty and what the hell is wrong? Both bulbs are the same too; Philips ZenStart

To me, the passenger side has a blue hue but doesn't look like it is emitting enough light and the driver's side is white with a more yellow hue but a stronger emission of light. But don't understand why if the bulbs aren't the problem.

Is it an igniter failure or ballast or? I'm not exactly clued up on how HID lights work!

I've attached pictures of them both to the post.

Help Please!!!

swap the ballasts and see if the result moves as well.

Even if I do the swap the ballasts over and the result follows the change it doesn't help me work out what the correct light output is.

In the pictures attached which looks correct? Driver's side looks correct to me (white one).

More pictures to illustrate the difference.

Looking at them when they're warm and in the dark it appears that the passenger side which is more blue emits more light and shines further than the driver's side which is yellow.

Opinions? (The car is RHD)

Try a new pair of bulbs, I'm guessing the colour shift was more pronounced on the left side. HIDs are known to colour shift with age.
