ABS/Brake problem or Battery voltage problem??

Let me just start off with a brief overview of my car its a 2007 335i 6spd 86k miles as of today. At 82k I had all required maintenances done, gaskets, plugs, filters, oils, you name it and it was done.

*I didn't change the brake pads because they were still good and as of now the rotors can be replaced too.

PROBLEM: During highway driving 6th gear cruising car would experience a power outage then immediately after my abs light would flash with the brake light following. Both lights would flash once and then I never see them again, what made me post something about it today was that it happened 3 times in one trip. This only happens when I have my iPod connected with a aux cable. The cable is a cheap 5below cable I'm not sure if that would cause this.

I read a few forums and Im thinking it could be the battery cable recall which I've never done or a abs sensor going bad or my pads just wearing. If this problem wasn't so spontaneous I would catch it on video to show everyone exactly whats going on. Tomorrow Im going to have my battery checked out to rule that out.
