BBS CH-R help?
I have a 2011 xdrive 335i coupe and I have decided to get BS CH-R 19x8.5 , all around just wondering what tire size I could get. I have read somewhere that 255 would work but might need to mod the front so wheels could fit, I would like to know what tire size do you guys recommend that needs no modifications?
currently I have kw v1 coilovers with 18x8.5 235/40 front 18x9.5 265/35 rear |

Dude, don't buy a non-stagger set of CH-R, the rears are beautifully concave, it would be a shame to miss out on that. 8.5 front, 9.5 rear, and either...
225/255 (BMW recommended and should be fine without rolling rear fenders, no promises though) 235/265 235/275 (closest diameter for x-drive, but you will definitely need to roll rear fenders if you're going for the 9.5+35 CH-Rs in the rear) I have 19" CH-Rs as my summer wheels on my pre-lci xi, with 275/30/19 in the rear and I have rolled my rear fenders.

Are you sure? That's a fair bit oversize.

would 235/40-19 fronts and 265/35-19 rears be ok because tire rack recommends 235/35-19 fronts and 265/30-19 rears |

Tire Rack's recommendation is correct. You will DEFINITELY have issues if you upsize, as the CH-Rs have a semi aggressive offset anyway, even more so on your LCI.
235/35 front, 265/30 rear. Although 275/30 rear will get you to almost identical diameter front and rear (with my tires, it's 0.17% difference). You may need a rear fender roll for the 275s, but it ain't nuttin, DO IT! ![]()

I've got my fingers crossed for you that even on 265 a roll won't be needed, but just let me say again, you are not doing anything bad to your car by rolling the rears, just tucking up a bit of extra metal, it really is nothing, I used to avoid it as well, it's one of those things where when you do it, you wonder what you ever had against it, lol.
