White E92 + black trunk lid

I have a white e92 and thinking of putting a stock black trunk lid on my car. I will also be painting the roof black. Would it look too rice? thoughts?

Please don't do it. Less is more.

I think it looks unfinished. I really don't think that looks good.

Nope. Unless you're 19 and you need attention.

That picture is a carbon fiber trunk, not black.

As others has said, tacky. Do not do it.

If you think it looks good do it and be different man, everybody here has pretty much the same look. V710s, mtech front and rear, performance spoiler and diffuser. It would be nice to have some members with unique cars.

Black roof is nice, but personally, I would leave the trunk.

On the other side of the coin, different for the sake of being different isn't good either.

i agree with what everyone has said so far. i believe that you would have to have some other aggressive exterior mods like that picture above for it to be pulled off as looking good.

do what you want its your car. best way to see is to plasti dip/or wrap it and see it in person. dont spend too much time on it and see if you like it. then just peel off. kind of like drawing a tattoo on yourself and viewing it to see if you like it. just a thought

I think it could look good if you left the top CF and paint the back side to match your paint.

If you're going for that 'test-drive-before-getting-painted-at-the-body-shop-after-a-rear-end-collision' look, then yea.

Of course, most cars sporting non-paint matched body panels around where I am are 15-20 year old Hondas, so you'll have to excuse me if my stylistic opinion comes off as crotchety and conservative.

I love the black roof look but having a black trunk is just ricey to me. The black roof comes on the new Alpine White ///M4, it it looks incredible.
