PE not loud?

Ive seen videos for over 2 years of the pe exhaust and now that i put it on today doesnt seem no where near how it sounds on youtube i know itll sound a bit different since its recorded but everyone had good reviews and said they loved the sound but i feel like mine gurgles when i start it then goes away and doesnt even make noise it sounds like stock you can hear it around 3k rpm and up seems like a muffler delete would of sounded better..has this happened to anyone? Ive also read that it can take time to break in but maybe im being paranoid anybody has any input?

It's quiet below 3K, meant to be. Sounds better and better as revs climb past 5K, depending on what you think is better I guess. If you want it really loud all the time get headers, that'll do it.

I thought the same. It was pretty quiet initially. It needs time to break in. After that, if you're not happy get the aFe race pipes. It's a cheap option to do as an add on and makes a difference as well.

I have a 2011 E92 335i with the ppk. Would the BMW performance exhaust give me a little more hp?

I was thinking that too or a borla mid pipe hope it wont be too loud thanks

If it does it's on the order of the error inherent to any dyno.

When I first got it installed, I was like "Is that it?!" But after a while it grew into the classic BMW touring car sound. Now I sound like a finely tuned racecar
