Can corning and fog lights be changed to LED/HID with no codes?
I am looking to change my H3 cornering lights and H8 fog lights. I am not happy with the different colors they have from the headlights and angel eyes.
I have 2011 N55 E92 335xi coupe LCI. Will I be able to install either LED/HID bulbs as a direct plug and play without throwing codes? I have searched and found many different variations of answers, a lot of them revolving around the e90 Pre-LCI conversion talk. IF you can please point me in the right direction. Thank you. |

You will probably have to stick with an h3 bulb, but you can get an LED bulb to match the color of your HID's. I would consult Jeff at top gear solutions. He helped me out a ton. The bulbs he sells should not throw codes, but if they do, you would just buy a simple resistor off amazon for $5-6.00 and install them on the power and ground lines going to the bulb.
