Tick tock the thread is locked and nobody else can play, and if they do we'll take their shoe and keep it for a year or two.
Sorry guys, I just had a momentary flashback to my childhood.

they're still on ebay. I ended up picking one up - I think the 4 ply would have fit better, but the 6ply fit on well enough. I haven't really felt any difference but it's only a few HP, so not surprising. |

Yes. I was a little concerned with the 6 ply fitment myself, but it seems to be on there. I absolutely notice a difference in the smoothness of revs. Seems a little quicker to rev too, but I don't think the car itself feels any faster really with such a small hp gain.

Of course they would close something that's legit and kept ModMyEuro from continuing to steal thousands. What a joke!

lol.
It just seems pointless to close a thread where there was legit useful discussion about an aftermarket product for us NA guys... Especially after 9 months of it being open. Really a waste of time and a kill of a good thread, Mods.

Hopefully, I will not regret the purchase. I want to enhance the engine sound and get few mid range TQ and HP. I just love the sound of last NA straight six bmw sold in USA aka N52 |

But it doesn't change the engine sound that I can tell on my N51 3-stage with a Performance Euro Airbox system, nor does it feel any more HP/TQ on the butt dyno

That is disappointing then.
When I removed charcoal filter, intake noise became louder and I def felt the difference. I will give it a try and see how it works out. Hopefully they have some kind of return policy in place. |

the dyno evidence was enough for me. it's just hard to tell the difference of only 4-5whp. but at $60 and about half an hour to put it in, it's not a bad deal. I mean, that's less than $10/bhp. People pay $1000 for a flash that gives them 15hp.

HP gain is minimum, probably same as KN filter replacement will feel.
but $60 is less then one oil change...... I have no complain against it.
