Question Carbon Build, Injectors or something else

I just bought a 2009 335i with 94k on it. I bought it from a friend who had owned it since new and took extremely good care of it but as 335i's are problems occur. I took it in to the dealer for the brake flush and to get a "Service Engine Soon" light looked at. The said it was 3 bad injectors for a nice price of $1100. I told them no ill have someone else look at it and that was that. I took it to my regular import car mechanic and he ran the codes on his OBD reader and it came back with misfires on multiple cylinders and a low fuel error that caused a misfire.
My main question here is it more likely my injectors are bad or could it be something as simple as new spark plugs coils or carbon build up? The car has 94k on it and I am not sure if the Walnut blasting was performed or not. Thanks

Change plugs and coils and have a walnut blast performed. You should do that anyway, regardless of having any problems. If the problems with the misfires persist, it's likely your injectors.

Why not start with the cheapest maintenance items first.
If replacing spark plugs and ignition coils don't help than I would move onto the injector.
If you search this issue has been covered numerous times.
If you pull the plug shortly after starting the car and see that the plug is covered in fuel than you have a leaky injector which requires replacing. You can replace injectors yourself for about $150 per injector.
Why can't you ask your friend if the walnut blasting has been done.

Just search for N54 misfires, there's a standard procedure to figure out what the problem is. Spark plugs/coils and then injectors after that.
