I need some psi/vacuum info
hi guys, I would like to know what the charge pipe pressure is supposed to be when idling at around 620rpm, and also what the vacuum is at inside the intake manifold ?
I'm having lean running issues that I can't get rid of, and I don't have a reference point to go off of... please if you have these numbers please post them here. my n54 335i xdrive is all stock runs like crazy it just keeps throwing those 2 codes ..lean on both banks thanks in advance |

thank you that is exactely what I need so according to this, i have too much boost, All my mesuremennt I'm stating here, were taken with INPA... when idling I'm at 4psi (converted from kPa) and under hard acceleration it goes all the way up to 17psi... My car is all stock!!!! I checked the waste gate vacuum lines and the wastegate valves, disconnected the vacuum lines at the "t" after the solenoid valves, I used a hand vacuum pump and BOTH held vacuum and I watched the waste gate rod move as I applied Vacuum ... Does anyone have a procedure how to check the solenoids for proper function ? or is there anything else that would cause too much boost ???? |

Edit, perhaps you are looking at absolute values. Subtract 14.7psi then.
