Turbo Actuator linkage removal.
Hi Guys,
me e90 330D was feeling slightly sluggish so I started reading up on possible things wrong. It has been remapped but slowly started to feel underpowered lately. I first tried to clean the map sensor but that made no difference, MAF was new and only a 9 months old. Boost pipes seems to be ok. EGR Actuator no quacking noises. I then looked at the Turbo Actuator linkage to see if it was moving ok. I had me wife sitting in the car and at idle revving it up and down and I could see the linkage moving but didnt know how much movement there should be. As she did this I sprayed some WD40 where all the moving parts were. Long and behold my low down boost is back and the car goes like stink now ! woop woop. so what I'm asking is how easy is it to take the linkage off so I can give it a proper clean and greasing. Also to see if what it connect to moves freely too. if you know what I mean ... ? Thanks Guys |
