Need help upgrading wheels or replacing damage wheel
I currently have 162 style wheels with my 2008 pre-LCI BMW 335i sports package. I started to feel some vibration at highway speeds so I had the front wheels balanced again but the vibration is still there. I went back and saw that the front left wheel seems to not rotate evenly (some slight elevation when rotating) so I think it is the wheel is bent. I was looking to upgrade the wheels so this might be a good time.
I am interested in the OEM ZCP 359M competition wheels that come as an option for the M3. I've seen some members fitting these wheels (some with rear fender rolling). I also found a good deal on these wheels. Will 359M wheels work on a pre-LCI E90 335i without tire rubbing and without any modifications? Do I have to get a certain tire to avoid rubbing? Is the wheel strong or will it bend the moment I run over a pot hole? Thanks!
