This is just asking for trouble LOL. I like the 335i that I test drove, but I like the 328i too even if it is slower and the aftermarket isn't the greatest for our engines.

"Better" in what respect though? I mean, sure it's better, that just goes without saying naturally, as trollbait, but in a more serious sense some metric(s) would be helpful in categorizing the outrage, I mean comparisons. Or something.

If I had the money to afford a 335i/135i I would have one over my 330i, no question.

heh, I don't even go into the 335i forum, why would I care? I always wonder why those guys come in here just to say "335i is the bestest BMW ever!!!".

I could have easily afforded a 335i, but I would never buy one. the price difference is hardly anything, we're talking about used BMWs here.. you're not a baller if you have a 2nd or 3rd hand 335i, and they made a bazillion of them so it's not exactly exclusive.

the N54 would be fun in our 325xi touring but so would a 3 stage intake manifold swap + headers.

Oh we got a classic here.
1. Say how easily you can afford a 335
2. Come up with a BS reason why you dont want one and how awesome your stock 330/328/325 is.
3. Insult the financial status of anyone who buys a used 335. Even though many who have bought one used also own other cars, including BMWs that they bought NEW.
4. Measure ones financial status by the car they drive.
5. Come out looking like a fool.

Only took 16 posts for someone to go into douche mode.

And honestly if you are of "baller" status then you are NOT driving a 3 series.

Rant done:
Now go troll the forum for a used 3 stage intake manifold.

lol. are you projecting? because I didn't insult anyone, and I certainly didn't say anything to measure my status by the car I drive. last I checked, I drive a used 3 series, which cost less than a new Camry. actually, we bought two of them for the price of one new car. :|

I'm just saying, $12k vs $18k or whatever isn't a big difference - that's like $75 a month. I didn't insult the financial status of anyone (maybe you?) - but lots think the only reason not to get a 335i is because they can't afford one. I specifically didn't want one. that is my point.

if you like the 335i, great! I don't care either way.

Besides, everybody _knows_ a 328i is better. Unless they don't. In which case who cares what they think?
