MAXBOOST- did he blow his turbos??

I haven't heard from this guy in a while and there seems to be a rumor going around that he blew his turbos. Can anyone chime in that knows him or of him and his situation to clarify this issue.

Also I was wondering what the cause was, he was the leader with the procede and drag times early on............

If I screwed up anything and was trying to get BMWNA to float the bill, I would not be saying a single word to anyone until my car was back on the road. Regardless of whether it was my fault, theirs or Buddah's I would not talk about it until it was over.
I think he is doing the smart move of falling off the map, because there are techs, service advisors, salesmen etc... on this board who may just in passing tell a story of some clown bragging that he jumped his car over a school bus then towed it to the dealer for warranty repair on the suspension. Stuff like this gets around, and you don't want information like that in the wrong hands.

Who said I was asking him to post times?? Did you read my comment, I said he used to post all the time and he was the leading drig slip time holder until this happened, and I would like to see if the procede had any involvement.

i just got off the phone with him and he did indeed confirm that something has been blown. he's trying to get the issue solved and is seeing if it was the turbos or something else.... (although i dont know what else it could have been?)

The last time I heard from him is when he posted the 12.4 second run in red huge capital letters saying: I am the fastest in the world!! of something like that.

After that we found that the times were on a Gtech, Additionally he added a V2 and I believe he never improved his times. Other than that I haven't seen many of his post like he use to post before.

I think he's been sinking all of his tuning time/money into his beastly vette. That thing is running 9 second quarters w/ out breathing hard.

I just want an update on his vette.......tell us when it hits the 8's.

Take it to the bank: It was his 5th and 6th cylinder meltdowns, reported this to everyone weeks ago and I got flamed for not giving specifics on who, when and where. Now you know I wasn't talking out of my a**.

FWIW, I believed you, particularly when the thread was closed. This kind of talk is not good for business.

Thanks for the faith, I think you are the only one.......everyone else flamed me, including shiv. In fact Vishnu is the only tuner that has attacked me consistently when I or anyone else mention anything about blown engines running piggybacks.......I assume everyone knows which piggyback MAXBOOST was running? I'll give you one guess..........
