Sure. I had my friend ship out the spoiler for me which he told me he did. I later found out that it wasn't and then the member retracted him money so it was sold to someone else.

The second guy bought spacers. Turns out that I couldn't find one of the sets so I ordered new ones for him which arrived earlier this week. He's still getting them it has just taken longer.

I've done deals with people on here before and had no issues, these two cases were just unfortunate mainly because I had someone else take care of them for me (which won't be happening again)

Considering I intend to sell and buy more parts it seems illogical that I would be sketchy like that. Both situations are regrettable and for which were not handled appropriately on my part. Shortly after the deals were conducted personal significant issues intervened and I am just now recovering. My apologize to the two numbers, malice on my part was not intended. The outstanding issue will be remedied in the coming week.

So all of that, and no thought to text or notify us in any way? Bullshit.

When you sell something privately it usually means you have the product and it's ready for sale unlike vendors with a general stock that can be back-ordered . You can't sell something and get paid by a member THEN look and see if you still have the item. Makes no sense to put an item for sale when you are not 100% sure you have it. Also If you had a friend do the shipping, there should of been a disclaimer or a follow up with the friend to make sure it was sent.

It seems logical for them to retract the money when communication is at a low because that is hard earned money that is being sent to YOU, not the friend. Lastly, why would you sell the spoiler to someone else without talking to the original buyer on the issue that happened on your side.

Agreed. I think the best thing to do in this situation is give the other member his $165 back. That's money that was worked for, some of us work weeks to save up $165 for a car part, which is a personal hobby and something we all love. To take that from someone is f*cked up.

I've been in contact with the other member on a daily basis, and if KPL has any interest in future sales here, the best thing to do is refund the $165 and call it a day. At the end of the day, receiving money & dropping communication with the buyer after repeated attempts is theft, plain and simple.

Fine. Like I said, I'm not happy about the situation as it is. There are personal details that are missing which I feel uncomfortable with sharing.

335NJ I gave you preliminary details about one situation to which you can attest was quite severe and did not get better.

I'm not about bad vibes, things are just now getting back together. My apologies to you and the other gentlemen, you can take that however you would like. I'll send the other guy his money back tomorrow (Sunday).

Again, it was never my intention to have things transpire the way they did, I have been a member here a long time now and this is my first incident of which I'm apologetic for.

I understand there was some personal things that came up, and I haven't lost anything on the deal except my time, but as long as the other member gets his $165 back, everything's clear.

I did, I actually sent him back $185 for the trouble. Sorry to both of you, just things got a bit difficult, but I suppose that's no real excuse for my inaction.

And like I said, I've been a member here for a while, and I intend on being one and continuing to work the people on here, I didn't intend to jeopardize my relationship with the community.

I give you credit for doing that. Owning up to it, and refunding the money. Ill update the other threads, and hopefully you understand exactly why this was even brought to this level. I think it's just a lot of pieces put together equalled a shady situation.

Thanks for responding to the threads, and getting in touch with us. Good luck with everything that's going on.

No I completely understand, I probably would have done the same thing so I hold no grudges about it.

This is probably a good moment to tell everyone that sending money as a "gift" for goods with someone isn't a good idea because there are situations where people don't get the money back. I actually told the guy to send the money as an exchange for serivees, he suggested sending it as a gift, which I then made sure he was sure he wanted to do that .. But yeah, don't send money as gifts lol

By the way .. I really do want to move my bumper and lip, I decided I want an ///M Bumper instead. I can't order the bumper until I find a buyer for the one I have now.

Notwithstanding all of the chatter above, I am interested in your bumper to replace one on my daughter's car that she recently cracked up. Although not the matching color (her's is hard to find Barbera Red Metallic), I will accept one of another color.

So first question: what year is your car? I need one from 2009-2011. If that's a match then how much and where are you located in NJ? Best to send a reply to me at mjbovino@gmail.com. Thanks, Mike

Never mind, I just looked at your profile and see that your car is an '06. Too bad because Warren is close to my home. Anyone else out there with a bumper to sell?

The bumper is from a pre-LCI, your daughter has an LCI model, I don't think my bumper will work for you.
