Don't really care either way. I think it looks better than the antenna on the W211 E-Class

I have always hated it. If there was an option to delete it I would have been all over it. I also would have deleted the sunroof while I was at it. All useless crap. The antenna that was in the glass of my E46 worked fine, and it made the roofline look a hell of a lot better IMO.

i honestly love the sharkfin. Like Vicky said, it makes it easier to find my car lol. Your car seriously stands out from the rest with that small functional fin. Think about it. :P

I would have also liked to have the option to delete it. My wife's old 99 Toyota Solara had the antenna in the glass, and had no reception problems either.
Sunroof delete would have been nice too.

I like it. I agree with BoostedBMW, I would have deleted the sunroof in a heartbeat.

I like the sharkfin. It provides better reception and more versatility (including Sirius compatibility) than in-glass antennas, it isn't susceptible to being broken off by jealous idiots like an old-school whip antenna, and it won't break off or stop working like every motorized telescoping antenna I have ever used.

It makes bimmers unique. I guess you could call it another one of BMW's trade marks aside from the kidney grills
