Build status

Have any of you been able to monitor your car's build status - e.g. using your VIN # or order #?

If so - what do I need to do?

Good luck, I can't even get the dealer to find out when the car's going to be delivered.

It was ordered late last year.

Great - thanks... my expected build date is this week, so I plan to harass my dealer next week and see what they can tell me.

What dealer did you buy your car from? They do not sound very helpful.

Just get the VIN off the dealer (for "insurance" qute purposes) and enter it into the WW website as in Chris.G's link, that will show you whats happening. The guys at my dealership didn't know we could track like that, I guess some of us are a little more obsessed than others

I estimate on average I checked that website 6 times a day for five months during my wait

The worst bit was tracking the ship and seeing it go from Belgium off to the USA twice, then Panama, NZ, Brisbane, Port Kembla and finally Melbourne! The wait just makes delivery all that much sweeter though!
