My car is leaking auto tranny fluid...

Came out to my car yesterday to find about a 1/2 liter worth of yellowish fluid on the ground...

Took it to the dealer ASAP...

Dealer said it should be fixed by tomorrow... they didnt seem to think it was a big deal, said something about overflow from the transmission pan???

Anyone seen this before? How is it fixed? What causes it?

Could be a bad gasket, could be water (unlikely, unless u went through some water that was too deep).

sorry for this news. this is a really bad sign of tranny failure..

I'm curious, any error lights/messages? These cars have many sensors to warn us of problems. Seems weird there isn't one for the AT.

A half liter of fluid and no warning message. Good thing it didnt leak in a parking lot or while it was raining. You'd never notice.
