been studying about datalogging for a while now finally got the chance to do it, hopefully can get some feedback on how the car performs and protential problem it might have!
stage 2 sport 3rd gear http://www.datazap.me/u/trickystar/s...0&data=1-12-13 stage 2 sport 4th gear http://www.datazap.me/u/trickystar/s...0&data=1-12-13 stage 2 aggressive 3rd gear http://www.datazap.me/u/trickystar/s...0&data=1-12-13 stage 2 aggress 4th gear http://www.datazap.me/u/trickystar/s...0&data=1-12-13 information about my car 2007 335i coupe m/t 43,496miles 18inch rims square setup with 225 continental extremecontact dw (not the setup i want but the ex owner was rolling 20" with rubbers that have almost no trends left so i picked these up for just $500 as i recall to be a tempo fix) chevron 94 octane afe Magnum FORCE Elite Stage-2 Si PRO DryS Intake System vrsf 3" cattless downpipe V2 cobb ap v3 so far i can see my top end boost is around 2 to 3 psi lower then what the cobb map suggest.... but i never had any boost leak code before, also the Timing corrections i kinda dont get what it means... and my actual load is always lower then my requested load.... ![]() |

Car is performing horribly. Lots of timing drops.
When was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

spark plug was changed 1200miles ago on january, thats when i bought the car used.
engine oil and brake fluid were changed on the same day. i believe the owner before has never changed them =/ what should i be looking at to fix this ride up? could it be the chervon 94 octane that i am running that costs this problem? I'm no expert but doesn't look good. Too many corrections. Start wth drive map. Chevron 94 should be good idk what's up with ur car. Is the CEL on? Any misfires?

i am trying to address whats causing the corrections too.
i bought the car on january, CEL and misfires code never came on spark plug is new too, so i am leaning towards ignition coils now. reason why i asked if cylinder 3's correction is the least is because the ex owner had cylinder 3 misfire code and rough idle and car stalling when clutch are engaged in early 2014 ( after reading all his dealership service record ) walnut blast was done and ignition coil of cylinder 3 was replaced and on my first log -stage 2 sport 3rd gear- cylinder 3 only had 1 correction and it was at around 6300rpm when other cylinders had 2 to 4 correction on the same log but again i am no expert these are all just assumption i came up with after spending lots of time researching forums and websites haha i dont know if i should just buy 5 new coils and swap them all in but then theres no CEL or misfires yet and i am not even sure if ignition coils are the problem... what to do what to do! |
