Going back to the drag strip this weekend... need advice.

Need advice.

My rear runflats are worn now. In the middle tread depth indicators i have only a few mm legality. The smaller tread patterns on the rest of the trye are worn down.

I have a set of dunlop sport max non runflats.. Will just fitting these improve my standing quarter times?

is it worth lowering the pressues also to gain more contact?

My experience and I'm completely stock:
Don't worry about tire pressure, it doesn't make that big a difference with run flats. Launch from around 3k rpm, on the last yellow let the clutch out just a little bit, ride it until you feel it hook up then let it go. I run 13.3s 100% stock on stock run flats and get about 1.9 60 fts on a terribly prepped track. I only trap in the low 103s, so if you can trap 105 then you should definitely be able to get in the 13.3s. With non run flats, cutting 1.9 60s should be very easy.
