Upgraded turbo inlets, what to do with DV's?

So I am upgrading my turbo inlets in a couple of weeks, "MMP Style", with the intakes and filters on the left front side of the engine. I already bought a new ER CP with DV connections. I am kind of confused about what to do with the DVs. I definitely don't want a BOV, due to the sound, so I am "stuck" with DVs. I am FBO with stock turbos and my goal is to push about 450WHP on 93 pump gas. The way I see it, my options are as follows:

1. Re-use OEM DVs. Do I let them vent to atmosphere or do I reconnect them to the new turbo inlets? I definitely don't want any additional noises.

2. Buy aftermarket DVs. Same question as above, vent to atmosphere or reconnect to inlets?

Thanks!

Vent to atmosphere. When open they are always pushing air out. When you hit throttle they close. On decal also they are pushing air out venting air as well. Test it for yourself at idle and put a piece of paper in front of the opening and you can see for yourself

Post pics of your setup
I'm guessing you made the kit yourself?

Thanks man, would you keep the stockers then?

The intake will be done by my mechanic. I'll post pics when done.

I ran them for a while with my upgraded inlets going VTA and worked well for me even when pushing high boost so I would say yes, stock with them if they are working good

any vent to atmosphere is going to add some noise. venting a DV to atmosphere is essentially making it a BOV. only way to solve that is to tie them back in to your intakes.

Is there anyway to recirculate them I had my stock dvs vent to atmosphere and felt I had better throttle response when it was recirculating. Idk maybe it could of been all in my mind or something lol

Well I guess it does not hurt to prep the intakes for a recirc either way.

You can recirculate if you want. You just need to run a long line from the intake pipes to the diverter valves with a Y or a T so you can connect to both valves. You can tap into one or both of the pipes.

This isn't necessary though, and it's extra work and ugly plumbing. Just vent them to atmosphere.

That's the plan unless it gets noisy. I wonder if there is some sort of muffler device for such an application.

Hmm, I guess it would depend somewhat on the car, right? I mean there are people who catch a lot of oil into the OCC's, then there are those who catch zero. I guess I could just check the existing hoses to see how much oil has deposited inside them. I was just thinking, I could ask my mechanic to route the hoses back to the inlet pipes in place of the OEM rear inlet. If I combined them with a Y adapter, what size hose do you guys think I should use? Maybe I will just calculate the cross section area of the old two hoses combined, and find a new hose to match that.

The hose size is likely trivial, just match the OEM size and im sure that would suffice. The stock routing is recirculated for emissions purposes for potential oil vapors.

With an oil catch can you likely won't blow too much oil, if any.

if the stock DVs are blowing oil, any DV/BOV will blow oil. My BOV sprays oil all over. Just havent had a chance to install my OCC yet.

I'm too lazy to look up a diagram, where do we route the PCV system? I'm also installing some vtt style inlets soon.
