headlight vertical adjustment stripped
![]() ![]() finally got around to reaiming my headlights to find that PO or somebody (possibly me when i first aimed years ago, but have no memory of fucking up the plastic bolt head and i would notice shit like that unless i was working on the car mad to relieve stress) has stripped the interior plastic cross socket. the one within the yellow circle here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1426855433 Is the whole headlight assembly fucked? please tell that this is not the case. My gut and experience suggest this is the case My idea to fix is to use epoxy, saran wrap, and an old bit. put some epoxy in the bottom, put a layer or two of saran over the bit, gingerly emplace as naturally as possible, and then wait for the epoxy to set. the saran i'm hoping will allow me to remove the bit once adjustments have been successful.

You can try this...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/3711947...lpid=82&chn=ps I recently took the lense off my e90 headlight and see exactly how that adjusts the headlight. If you were in a dire situation you could adjust it from the inside but it requires taking the lense off which is a pia
