Xenon Repair.....?
hello...I have bought BMW E90...and before one month...i found in my front lights moisture.....So i went in BMW and they decided to change both my front lights....
I want to ask you something...Because the E90 xenon is white and it is not blue...I want it to know...if can i put inside my lights...bulbs from another BMW model...like 5series or 6series...in order to make my xenon lights blue... Can this be done...? BMW dealers told me that all the BMW cars have the same OSRAM Xenon lamps...? Is that true..? Or can i put bulbs with different tempurature (4700k white , 6000k more blue , 9000k blue...) Sorry for my bad english Help me....I want Blue xenons.... |

The higher the light temperature (in Kelvin, K), the lower the actual output. There was a post a long time ago that compared the light output with bulbs of different temperatures. You will undoubtedly find that you want to be between (I think) 4000K - 5000K for optimal light colour and output.

No, the older cars had a different shape bulb
But they also started out more white As the bulb gets older and gives off less light it gets bluer and bluer Brand new ones are very white, but change a bit after a couple hours of operation
