Hi,

Looking for a good tint shop in the chicago area, specifically A shop that does well with the dreaded dot matrix on the e92. Thanks

I highly recommend Umbra in Schaumburg. However, keep in mind it's virtually impossible to get rid of "dot matrix".

They put black vinyl over the top "dots" of the back window, but you will still have the issues around the edges of the windows.

Just got mine done at Chiprotints in LaGrange.Good guy and good pricing.

If looking in the City then MKAuto Tint, great guy does good job
else UMBRA in the schaumburg

Have you personally used MKAuto? Looking for someone in the city to redo mine.

Yup I wouldn't use anyone else around here. Did a great job on the dot matrix and put a vinyl strip on the rear window.

Does Umbra do 30%? I thought I read that they only do 35% or lighter.

You read right. Umbra only does legal Illinois tint limits. That would be 35% all around.
