So some yob decided to step on the bonnet and roof of my 2month old one series and left few dings but thankfully paint is intact apart from one scratch where it looks like that laqure has come off.
Any recommendations for a decent place to get these dings removed humanely in Manchester? Thanks

I feel your pain. I had the same. I live up near the university and it appears it is quite common. Times have changed since I was a students I guess.

I asked around paintless dent repair places but none thought they could do a satisfactory job. It didn't look too bad but had waves in the roof. In the end it was an insurance job with new roof and bonnet. They had no hesitation as apparently it's quite easy to replace the roof. Brilliant job, better paint than the factory.

Don't know about Manchester, but try Paul Martin (and his colleague) in Bolton. They're based at the BOC car centre on Manchester Rd and are there Saturdays. Weekdays they're usually mobile around the NW.
