Kinugawa/Kamak Turbos
Curious if anyone is using any of these turbos in a ST or TT setup. Ive used Kinugawas in the past with great results and I know they are used a lot in the Evo/STI world.
Just starting to price things out and start buying parts for my eventual top mount setup. |

Chinese cast, yea? Not that there is anything inherently wrong with that.
If you want to keep the budget down i'd lean towards BW Airwerks or PTEs. The gen 2 PTEs are really strong performers and are also reasonably priced.

I don't know much about the Kinugawas, though they do seem to be very popular in smaller housing applications for I4s. IMO i'd sell the GTX and drop in a 6466G2. That particular turbo seems to be killer on this motor and you'll have loads of headroom. If you want to keep the insanity below 700ish WHP a 3586r is perfect. I'm in love with that turbo, but am biased
