Audi RS6 Sedan Spy Photos(Almost Production Ready)
Not quite sure what the headlamps on top of the car are all about.
I'm guessing they're commonly used in Scandinavia?(where the car was found testing) Anyways: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That looks stunning. And the lamps are for better visibility at night in the wilderness filled with snow. Probably to ensure maximum light during testing.

I like the M5 but there is something super sexy about this RS6 saloon. If I classed myself old enough to consider either an M5 or RS6 then it would be the easiest decision I think I would ever make over a car, the RS6 all the way.

Wouldn't be so easy for me. Down here where I don't need Quattro, RWD antics seem mighty enticing ya know?

True and to be honest even in N.Ireland we can get by without Quattro too, but I have sampled the M5 on wet/greasy roads which we get here a lot and to be truthful you would have serious problems trying to use more than 400hp in anything other than decent weather. Maybe it's our road surface but I know from my experience of Quattro that the RS6 would no problem deploying all of it's 580hp, even in the wet. There does come a point when having 500+hp in changeable weather conditions driving through just one axle becomes excessive and OTT. Feel free to disagree but remember when putting forward your argument that my comments are based on wet/greasy road conditions more than 40% of the year. |

Two cars. Same purpose. Different means of achieving said purpose. Both perfect in their own ways. Gotta love choices. ![]()

Audis are very understated and to many appear to be 'regular'. They always have been. Calm, clean lines. The interior is awesome. Carbon fixtures left and right and the interior design is very clean. Audi has a great car on their hands with this one. |

I think the front is a little tame but it does have the RS grille and new headlights. A car in this class can afford to be tame anyway, if it was the RS4 it would be a different story. However there are still great changes in this RS6: - totally reworked wheel arches. - new sideskirts. - rear diffuser and exhausts. - wheels (beautiful). - bootlid. - LED rearlights (not seen in test mules) - RS interior treatment including unique seats and trim. ![]() ![]()

As for the interior. Well tell me how BMW or any other supplier make their top model different, to me I don't see much difference between the M3 and the 335i apart from the seats and steering wheel. In the RS6 you will get the option of exclusive trims which will include REAL carbon fibre, sports seat, a flat bottomed steering wheel and RS6 badging throughout the inside to tell you that you've just spent a fortune on something special. Plus just wait till you hear that engine/exhaust note, it's no diesel taxi on start up like the M5 is. |
