Our Upgraded Turbo Options!
True Twin Turbo Upgrades Description (Starting at $2999.00) It is a TD04L-20T with true 20T native compressor housing. The 20T mistubishi profile compressor wheel is a forged billet wheel with extended tip technology from BorgWarner. The Turbo consist of a TD04 bearing housing modified to connect to stock oil lines, coolant lines and stock turbine housing. The turbine housing has been modified to accept the TD04L turbine and flange up to the TD04 bearing housing. The kit will include upgraded inlet pipe system and also charge pipe system optimized for the high flowing native 20T compressor housing which is over twice the size/flow of stock compressor housing. This will make sure the turbos are flowing to their maximum potential along with the upgraded plumbing for the turbo included. This turbo can push up to 35psi of boost and not sure what the actual WHP will be on the N54, but with proper fueling and meth cooling should be in the 750whp range theoretically at those boost levels near redline according to estimated compressor map and turbo HP calcs, only testing will prove if this is possible and I intend to test the prototypes to these levels with proper port injection and stage 3 LPFP. Rob Beck Turbos Description (Starting at $2999.99) Upgraded New 15T Compressor wheel. Upgraded New TD04L Turbine wheel/shaft (this is not a "modified" stock turbine). Upgraded New TD04 Water cooled and fully adapted center-section to retain OEM Oil and Coolant Line hardware. Upgraded OEM Turbine housing to adapt to the Native TD04 center section and turbine wheel. Upgraded New Billet INTERNAL wastegate assembly utilizing special high heat components that are wear-matched allows for extra-long life. Description Stage 1 Hybrid upgrade (Starting at $1499.00): We start with a freshly rebuilt stock unit using all OEM spec internals, carefully machine the OEM compressor and bearing housings, to accept a TD04 14T compressor wheel. For the turbine side we clip the stock wheel to 7 degrees, we also remove the stock waste gate arm and flapper valve prone to rattling and boost loss issues and upgrade it with a 100% stainless steel piece to eliminate all of these known problems. These units also come with brand new factory OEM waste gate actuators. We chose the 14T wheel for the stage 1's because it is a much better match to the stock turbine than the 15T compressor wheel even though it means we have to set up differently to machine the different stages. Stage 1 is the perfect cost effective alternative to stock OEM replacement turbochargers. WHP Level supported (with proper fuel, upgrades, and tuning) Stock - 470WHP Stage 2 Hybrid upgrade (Starting at $2499.00): A complete hybrid from Compressor to Turbine using all new OEM spec internals. We take the OEM compressor housing, bearing housing, and turbine housing, carefully machining them to accept the TD04 15T compressor Wheel, and our proprietary Custom 9 blade TD04L turbine wheel with a full Garrett profile for full flow to redline. We then replace the factory waste gate arm and flapper valve with the 100% stainless steel version and include brand new OEM actuators. WHP Level supported (with proper fuel, upgrades, and tuning) Stock - 525WHP Stage 2+ Hybrid Upgrade (Starting at $3399.00): We are proud to introduce the latest in our line of N54 turbocharger products the VTT Stage 2+ hybrid turbochargers. We take our already robust stage 2 design utilizing all its ground breaking features, and machine the compressor housing to take the highest flowing wheels in the TD04 family to provide the ultimate in N54 stock frame power potential. There is no another stock frame turbo option on the market that can match the power or reliability of our stage 2+ turbos! WHP Level supported (with proper fuel, upgrades, and tuning) Stock-650WHP Hexon AutoWerks Description BMW N54 RR500 (Starting at $2850.00) Hexon RR500 turbine wheel is slightly smaller than others’ stage 2 kit ,but we really liked the profile and design the this wheel had. In fact the cost of doing the TD04 CHRA upgrade and using larger turbine really have no significant power difference between hexon’s and others’ stage 2 plus slower turbo spool on larger turbine. BMW N54 RR550 (Starting at $2850.00) To keep the original CHRA and a minimal machining process on the housing diminish the chance of failures. Using the original TD03 CHRA we have neither any return nor report of oil leaks or wheel damage more than 200+ units that we have sold. This turbo will be capable doing any boost level up to 21psi. Thanks to the great wheel balancing job done by our technician. That is why we chose to stick with 45.5mm and have it modified to fit into a wider powerband from low end to high end. Therefore we offer a reasonable price on our turbo and decide not to match-up with the others stg2 turbine setup Description BMW N54 VFF700 Single Turbo Kit (Starting at $6750.00) BMW N54 VFF900 Single Turbo Kit (Starting at $7579.00) BMW N54 VFF600 Single Turbo Kit (Starting at $6750.00) After 8 months of development and over 20,000 miles on numerous test vehicles, the world's first successful single turbo system is now available to the public. Showcasing the N54 engine's now legendary potential, our single turbo system is capable of putting down a reliable 570 to 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels depending on turbo and transmission configuration. This is 200-250% more power than a stock 135/335. Installation is no more difficult than replacing stock twin turbochargers (12-15 hrs) and is 100% removable. And most importantly, no other engine modification is necessary to support these power levels. Description Motiv 750 Single Turbo Upgrade (Starting at $7750.00) Motiv 900 Single Turbo Upgrade (Starting at $7999.00) The MOTIV line of single turbo kits gives your vehicle the level of performance it deserves. Providing unmatched spool and levels of power all while featuring OEM fit, finish and reliability. Utilizing Garrett/TiAL based turbochargers as the basis for our kit, we then began engineering the rest of the kit to become the platform standard. After considerable R&D, testing and analyzing several different turbo manifold designs we selected a developed a design unlike anything available to the N5x. Description BMW 335i N54 Top Mount Single Turbo Kit (Starting at $6899.99) What separates us from the competition is that we use nothing but the best materials and processes to bring you the customer, the best possible product. All of our manifolds are constructed from 316 Sch40 stainless steel tubing. The manifold is back purged throughout the entire welding process to ensure each weld has full penetration. We used teardrop wastegate ports to ensure you have control over your turbo, whether you want to run 10psi or 35 psi. We use low angle merge collectors made in house to promote optimal flow and keep velocity up. The runner lengths are kept as close to equal length as possible. This all translates to more horsepower with a broader powerband, and faster spool that retains stock-like low end torque. Lifetime Warranty on manifold and downpipe to original buyer. Description AD Engineering BMW N54 Single Turbo Kit (Starting at $5,999.00 - $7,099.00) The AD Engineering BMW N54 Single Turbo Kit is now available for purchase. This kit starts with a ceramic coated sch10 stainless steel 6-2-1 tubular bottom mount manifold with T4 turbo flange and 44mm wastegate outlet. Attached to this high flowing manifold is a Tial MVR 44mm wastegate and Precision T4 CEA billet compressor turbocharger with a ceramic coated turbine housing for both heat barrier and corrosion resistance. Exhaust gas exits the turbine wheel into a 3” 304L stainless mandrel bent downpipe with interlocked flex coupler that merges into twin outlets allowing it to easily bolt to the factory or any aftermarket replacement exhaust system. Fresh air is fed to the billet compressor wheel via a 3” diameter 6061 aluminum intake after being filtered by a K&N high flow filter located behind the left headlight. Heat shielding is use on the intake tube to keep radiant heat from the turbo manifold from heating the air prior to reaching the compressor. The compressor outlet carries the charged air toward the intercooler where a 2.5” coupler is location at the OEM breakpoint allowing easy connection to an AD Engineering front mount intercooler or any other factory replacement intercooler you may already have.

*If there are more upgrades that I have missed feel free to PM or post here for an update.* In no way am I promoting a certian vendor over another, or saying which turbos are better than others. This is only to ease searching! These are just some of the potential upgrades we have at the moment. This post was made to make finding out turbo upgrades much easier and as painless as possible. Prices are before Core Charge Return, This is the initial charge in case someone wants to keep their turbos. Remember to click Appreciate if this helps! So I'm assuming these prices are without cores?
Also, on the MMP, you HAVE to have new inlets and IC fittings. I think that should be required in the price since they are required to run. |

Actually, Hexon includes the $500 core charge. So without core charge, it is only $2350 comparing to the other stock frame options up there which all have additional core charge.

Nicely done OP.
I continue to be surprised by how well these stock frame offerings are fairing. Broader power curve than I would have thought possible even 18 months ago.
