E93 Undercarriage Brace Torque

Recently, I had to replace the water pump and thermostat in my 08 E93 335i. As part of that process, I had to remove the two undercarriage braces. I'm not sure that's actually what they're called, but I'm talking about the ones that are only on the e93 that go from the front-center of the car to the sides. Anyway, since then my car has creaked and popped on the right side and I think it's probably because I didn't torque the bolts on those braces correctly. I've searched but can't seem to find the torque specs for each of the four bolts that hold on each of those braces.

Does somebody have that information?

Thanks!

I don't know what the torque setting is, I tightened mine up pretty tight, the one thing I did do maybe different is I put the car on the ground and then tightened the bolts so everything was in a natural relaxed position when I tightened them - I probably put 50-70 ft/lbs on them, they are a pretty big bolt.

Thanks for the information. I re-loosened the bolts on the side of the car and tightened them with the car on level ground. At first I thought the creaking had stopped, but it started again after a few miles. I'm not using a torque wrench since I don't know the spec and don't want to risk breaking off a bolt or stripping threads with a long torque arm, but I feel like I'm getting those bolts pretty tight.

To be honest, 50-70 ft-lbs doesn't sound all that tight. While I may be completely off base, I was expecting something in the 100-175 ft-lb range. However, I'm not confident enough to give that a try.
