Cutting or rolling guards ?
Trying to figure out which option is better in the long run. got some 9.5 et22 at the rears that scrub here and there. Want to get some fat falkens at the rears so trying to figure out whats the best option.
advantages and disadvantages? thoughts? |

shaved or rolled doesnt really matter to some extent.
Taping the guard up and shaving is safer compared to rolling which can cause the paint to crack, but all the pro guys that do mobile rolling are generally all quite good at rolling. What size rear tyres are you going to run? Am I dreaming hoping to get a 275 on a 19 x 10 ET25 on a rolled and slightly pumped rear guards? |

Ahh, going for the semi slicks
Get some heat in the tyres and you'll be amazed, be careful in the wet |

10.5 et25 265 1.2 camber rears - shave, rolled and pulled, zero issues would comfortably fit 11's dropped on its nuts

my setup on rear: Rolled 19x9.5 40ET Tyre: 285/30/19 , RE05A it works with enough space for more! it aint even close to aggressive i had my 12mm spacers on it, making the ET 28, letting you know it rubbed like a mofo. but looks awsome. |

Unfortunately for the rears, you cannot avoid shaving when going wide/aggressive... There's a pesky metal tab which holds the rear bumper to fender which chews into the tyres.
