e60 M5 exhaust secondary cats for e90? (with pics)
Hey Bimmerheads
A stock e60 m5 exhaust fell into my lap (only 15k on it) from the cats back, and I was wondering if you think using the secondary cats would be better than, worse than or equal to using stock e90 cats or even an aftermarket high flow set.. My thinking is that the M5 secondaries would be optimal to use with my AA headers project since they are German/OEM, most likely higher flowing (200 cell at most I would think) based on its performance car application, and would be close enough to the pipe diameter of the 330i to weld in. Thoughts?

Care to elaborate? I need secondary cats from somewhere since I scrapped my stockers when I had my initial custom job done. Just wondering if OEM are worth the extra $150 this would cost me over universals.

They wouldn't flow any better than the stock units if that's what your asking.
