Connected Drive expires - what will I lose?
Hello all,
Just had the email from BMW telling me that my connected drive subscription will expire soon, despite a quick search I can't really get a definite view of what functions I'll lose - any clues? Pretty sure RTTI will go, leaving the Nav wanting slightly, but not really worth the £120 annually for me. Anything else? How about the ability to read texts - handy but not a showstopper, I read somewhere that that goes also... For reference - I have the Pro Nav in an LCI 2011 330d - I have internet (that will go) but not the fancy Facebook/twitter option. |

I've always renewed mine so I'm not absolutely certain, but I assume the SIM card will cease to function so anything that uses that will probably go, connected drive, concierge, messages & send to car etc & probably RTTI, although it wouldn't surprise me if there was a additional subscription for that.

-RTTI -Ability to check e-mails -Internet / online if you have -ability to send maps to the car -tracking your car, lock / unlock your car / turn on ac via app Nothing biggie....except if you send routes to your car.

And you loose the one I miss most: Google search.
The sim still works, so emergency services are functional. Isn't European recovery also part of the deal? |

The send to car is/was pretty cool - my app updated about a year ago and I've not logged in since - misplaced password. I think it's about £120 per year isn't it? (Seems a bit much!) |
