Amazingly rude customer at dealership...with pic!
If you know this guy please let him know he is an entitled asshole!
I was at a dealer in Cincinnati for a wheel warranty claim - all I had to do was drop by for them to scan my key and process the claim. Should have taken five seconds. So I get there and this is this customer working with my service advisor. Apparently his name is name is Gary and he was dropping off his 7 series for an oil change. I don't even think it was a 2014 or 2015...looked like a couple years old. Well, our friend Gary refused to accept a 3 or a 5 series loaner car despite the fact that most dealers don't have 7 series on hand as loaners. He complained for 45 minutes about how "he would be embarrassed to be seen in a 3 series" and how "if he brought home a 3 series he would need someone from the dealership to hold a billboard hiding it from his neighbors." He didn't even need a loaner car in actuality because, as he made a point of mentioning, "He has plenty of other nice cars to drive." When service couldn't get him a 7 series, he got the sales side involved and made everyone wait while his regular salesman came over to see what they could do. This all happened while a line of customers, including me, was building up behind him. The BMW dealer handled the situation amazingly, even going so far as to call a competing local dealer to check if they had a 7 series they could borrow for him, but the guy just didn't care. This guy was literally the most entitled person I have ever seen. All of us customers in line waiting were driving 3 series, 5 series, etc. And he was just shitting on the cars saying he was embarrassed to even be seen in one. And he didn't understand that the dealership couldn't just give him a brand new unsold 7 series off the showroom floor to drive. Unreal. Last edited by paradoxical3; 07-23-2015 at 09:29 PM.. |

Drives a grown man, BOSS car.
Dresses like a 5 grader on a summer field trip. Bitches like a 6 year old girl that just got her candy stolen; and probably fights like one to. Plus he gives a fuck what his neighbors think, that right there shows he has no self-confidence and no real self-esteem. I know we live in a world of "laws" and all that shit but it would have been quite satisfying to lay that pussy the fuck out. Last edited by Delta0311; 07-21-2015 at 01:04 PM.. |

+1 the most problematic and usually worst rated out of the BMW line up.
But hey it's the highest number BMW offers so in his chimp like brain it means that it has to be the best. I take it the 760, Alpina B7, i8 and M6 where not quite in his price range. He's probably not balling as hard as he thinks he is. |

What a douche, he clearly doesn't understand how loaner cars work. I took my Corvette into the dealership for a 15k service and they gave me a chevy aveo as my loaner car, haha! When I pulled out of the lot I had to check my e-brake several times because it felt like something was holding me back. Turns out it does 0-60 in like 5 minutes... haha
If the place I'm doing business at is a reputable business I'll usually step in and say something. In this day-and-age people learn pretty quick when they hear something negative about themselves. I'd say "buddy, stop being an entitled douche, everybody here has a nice car, you're not at a Kia dealership. Take your 5 series loaner and go have a nice day".

I knew a chick like this.. Her family did ok but she suckered this trust fund kid to marry her.. Within less than a year of marriage she became a complete "princess". Everything had to be brand name and top of the line. He wound up buying her a 650 because a E92 was just to small and "cheap looking" for her. Mind you this chick drove a used Accord before she met him. Long story short they divorced a few months ago and she wound up getting their townhouse in NJ (which he didn't want anyway) and a little bit of cash (way less than what she expected). Looks like KIA will be in the lineup for her next car.

That's hilarious. Since when did people lose their common sense so completely?
I've seen in our section people complaining about floor mats and scratches they never bothered to report straight away, and the horrible criminal gets shit for being humans. They end up spending their day writing nice responses. If anyone wants to start a dealership for those customers who promise not to become bitches to receive a discount, I'd be a client. These guys are stuck handling idiots for hours, time they could spend getting our orders in. |

That 7 is probably all he has in his life. He's also probably a poser too acting like he's a "somebody" when he's not. Probably bought it used has no other car like he claimed, divorced twice and kids who can't stand him. If he was as special as he acted like he was he'd know a 7 series isn't much to brag about in higher circles. Nothing wrong buying used like myself but I don't act like a dick pretending like I'm entitled. What was he expecting for his image? He'd drive home for about 45min until he has to go right back to pick up his car in a 7 series that says "courtesy vehicle of jack sweeny bmw" on the glass and his elite neighbors wouldn't look down on him?

I have no patience for ignorant assholes. I consider myself a nice guy, but I am a NY'er and if I had to wait because of this loser, I would have lit him up. I would have really enjoyed it even though it probably wouldn't be the mature thing to do.
