Haven't talked to Luke about it yet, but wanted to see what you guys have paid (and where) to get your DP's installed.

I paid $220 locally with a well known ex-BMW mechanic who runs his own indy shop out of his custom garage at his home.

mkPOTO is spot on, I'd assume most places would charge ~4 hours for this.

This was the first mod I have ever paid to have installed. Unless you have a lift, I would hesitate to brave this in your driveway. I have been modding cars for 10+ years dating back to my DSM and replacing the motor with friends, etc. and I would not want to deal with the N54 DP headache. I had to go poke around down there to try and find the source of a rattle and it's stupid cramped. Maybe I'm just old and impatient now. Watch this video from AR:

Not saying it can't be done, but is saving ~$220 worth it? At this stage in my life, h3ll no.

agreed, did mine over at VS motorsports with them and it was a HUGE pain in the ass. But well worth it as I am able to do it.. but would not do it.

I would contact Luke or Brad from VS/ASPEC.

Yeah right I've read it's one of the most annoying mods to do yourself. And 4 hours? I've seen 3 just about everywhere.

Luke installed catless DP on my 335. Don't forget to bring new gaskets, they're usually doesn't come with downpipes.

Hmm I think VRSF does come with new gaskets, well according to the photo on their site. But thanks for the heads up.

Just installed new VRSF DPs, come with gaskets and hardware. Ran into an issue with the rear pipe and gaining clearance around the subframe due to the midpipe flange angle, as a heads up. My installer was able to get it finally just took some finesse.

The DPs are one of my top five favorite mods hands down.

i think ground clearance is always a issue. You just need to mess with them
