I just saw an RS4 today at a red light. OH MY GOD. Easily the greatest car I've ever seen. Understated, sleek, calm... And then the driver gave it some gas, oh my god, it sounds perfect. Deep and low at lower RPM's, and at high RPM's the exhaust tone is loud and in your face.

If I had the choice between the M3, C63, and RS4... It'd be the Audi; without a doubt.

By the way, the car was black on black with "carbon fiber" trim and the windows were tinted, the driver couldn't have been more than 22 or 23.

I'll have to admit, they do look bad ass. Got to get a really close look at a black one at the local dealer when my brother was putting down his deposit for the R8. He let me sit in it and turn it on so we could see how the engine sounded didn't drive tho since it was in the showroom, amazing. Not sure yet if I would go with it over the new M3 though, will have to see one in person before I decide.

The RS4 is awesome, I love the RS4... BUT would rather get the M3 or C63. Trust me I wouldn't mind owning one but if I had to choose it wouldn't be my first choice!

I grew up around Mercedes, and that C63 is not a Mercedes. It's an animal. The little things about it add up and bother me, like the HUGE reflectors, the HUGE mirrors, the bulky styling, the chrome.... BMW and Audi are far, far ahead of Mercedes in the "sport's car" market. The AMG just has unbelievable oversteer and power, which would be fun, but not for a daily driver.

But... But... It just looks so good...

About the price, the BMW, Mercedes, and other competitors have a price tag have a $60-70,000. Which sucks.

1.) That's the new Audi A4/S4/RS4, not the one I saw.
2.) Half the reason the RS4 is better is because of it's interior/exterior, miles ahead of B.M.

Haha, no, I just don't like the excessiveness of the M3. The M3 badges, the rear diffuser, that little useless "spoiler" on the trunk... MOLD IT IN WITH THE TRUNK!

I'm sorry those little things add up to bother me on the C63 AMG and the M3... The Audi has none of those little annoyances.

But, that's just me, if somebody offered me a free M3 I would definitely say yes. It's a godly car.

Oh, I found one thing I don't like about the Audi:

1) I would do European Delivery so no orange peels
2) I would debadge the "V8" and "RS4" badges. I would just keep 1 on the engine.

my friend in socal has a gray on black one with carbon fiber trim and tinted windows. he's 19. he just sold his 996GT3 for the RS4.

I'd have to take the RS4 over the M3 as well if I could get either for free. If I had to pay for it, the M3 is a better buy because what I could do on the weekends, but like someone said, between the hood, the roof, and that rear, it's a little too overdone to be something i'd want to be seen in on a regular basis.
