Charge Pipe leaking meth at TB

I have the Evolution Racewerks Charge pipe on my N54, and have recently added meth injection. Now noticing that there are drops of Meth leaking from the end where it connects to the Throttle Body. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a better way to seal it?

O ring at TB? There should be really no meth leaking anywhere as it should be perfectly atomized. Which meth kit? When/How is it triggered to spray?

Make sure it's seated all the way onto the TB, and the O-Ring is intact as stated above. The mounting bracket on the ER pipe might make it seem tight, but the connection may not be seated.

Going to try to change out the o-ring tonight for a new one to see if that helps.

Ok, double check on that o ring. Make sure when you seat the CP at the TB that the C clip snaps in securely. I typically push pretty hard up into the TB to make sure that the CP is on all the way.

That would be my thought? What nozzle size are you using.

If its leaking anything at the throttle body I'd make sure the o-ring hasn't been compromised or the TB flange on the CP wasn't incorrectly machined. If it's leaking meth it's definitely leaking air.

And if it is leaking air then you should have gotten a check engine light for lean condition I would think.

A small boost leak won't throw a code, a large one will. The codes that are present with boost leaks on these cars aren't related to rich/lean conditions since these cars don't have mass air flow sensors.

Just finished fleshing out a boost leak at my TB where the CP connects. I too am running an ER chargepipe, the newer long one. The mounting bracket for the pipe was tightened down too much and was influencing the angle of the charge pipe the way it was seated on the TB. I pulled the pipe, inspected the O-ring and it was all good. Re-seated the chargepipe and added two washers to the mounting point in order to fix the angle influence when tightened down securely. No more leaks at TB.

I would suggest checking that mounting point and how much it's angling your CP. Good luck!

Glad you got it resolved.
