Going for dyno on Friday
Hi Guys,
Going for a dyno on Friday and would welcome any advice or settings that would be useful to ask for for a good run. I'm driving a 335i coupe AT with V2 on 94%. |

To keep the results in line with our previous results and as close to the US results as possible you need to makesure you use "STD Correction" NOT SAE correction. Use smoothing at setting 5 if you can.
Be sure to get the car on the rollers. Turn OFF the engine. Turn it on again and before engaging any drive hold the DTC button down for at least 10 seconds until the DSC is completely turned off. Select the Gear you want using the shifter NOT the paddles - not sure what effect this has, but that's the advice. makesure he's smooth with applying the throttle or it can spin and ruin the results. Use my graph as an example. I would expect to see about the same sort of power in your car. For reference the transmission loss for the auto is 15%, so MAKESURE you get the actual power and torque at the wheels... Good luck and get us some pics SJ |
