Hello everyone, quick question, i bought a used bms meth kit and the power wire (red) was cut, so it was missing the pins that go into the green clip and hold the jb4 power wire. So i was thinking, can i cut and peel the power wire from the green power connector, the red wire from the fsb and the red wire from jb4 and connect them 3 with a butt connector? Of course wrap that in electrical tape. It should work right? Lol or is that too ghetto for a bmw?

Its ghetto but should work. AS long as the power source is stable and secure there should be no issues, but not something I would recommend. I would get a replacement wiring harness for the power.
