Powerfolding Mirrors Retro-fit Questions e91 LCI
Probably been covered quite a few times I know.
Looking to Retro-fit some Powerfolding Mirrors to My e91 LCI plus edition. I've heard it does not work if you don't have electric seats? I DO have electric 'Bolsters' but not electrically moving seats. I'm aware i'll need the window switch panel with the power-fold button on too and of course code them into the car, is this possible? I've got both the electric bolsters and the powerfolding mirrors on mine, factory fit. I'd say it can be done
What you would need to do it, i don't know i'm afraid.

Folding mirrors can be retrofitted without memory seats.
Requires some wiring modification or new door harness plus running new wires and coding. I'd say its slightly more effort than fitting any PNP parts.

No, Mechanical seats with the electric pump for the adjustable side bolsters.

I think you are going to spend alot more time and headache and money for this function. I have memory seat and it was almost plug and play for me (just add coding) and it worked!

I know it seems a lot of hassle really! Wish I had memory seats, it sounds more of a common thing to have memory seats on the e92/e93's.

In fact I think that is just a coding option, you don't need power folding mirrors for this feature. |
