Daten files in english for our engine

Does anyone know if there is updated daten file in English?

I doubt it. What are you looking for? The daten files are mostly numbers anyway.
If you have a specific file or seciton I can try to translate it for you.

I need to do adaptation on swirl flaps, egr and pump.

And if it's an option, on my MAF too, because it was dirty a fkuc ( pipercross air filter deteriorated and foam pieces were everywhere don't buy a pipercross )

I also want to monitor boost requested vs actual.

No need for english daten files then. Just switch your Ediabas or Rheingold to english. All adaptions can be found there.

ok i'm in the process of getting rheingold.

I have inpa, but its in german so kind of a pain to use.
don't know if i have/know how to use ediabas.

Rheingold is definitely the best option to get. It has also technical documentation and repair guidelines. However, it may take some time to get used to and find what you're looking for.

I installed BMW Tools 2.12 and updated the files to v49 but it does not appear to have the correct files for the 335d. I cannot use INPA. How did you get yours working?

You need a German INPA script:

Click on the wrench in the top row. Then under the first tab you should be able to select English. If you can't, you need to download a version that has English available:
