Lost exhaust crackle/burble after JB4 install

Hey guys,

I have a 07 335i E92 with a Remus exhaust system. I bought it from a dealer as is and it would crackle and burble like crazy (upon deceleration) , it was just awesome!

I got a JB4 installed about 2 weeks ago and ever since, the crackle/burble is pretty much gone, you can still hear it but you have to have the windows down and listen real hard - it's almost like it's been muffled.

I contacted Burger motorsports about this and they said they it may have something to do with disconnecting the battery?

anyone know what's going on?

PS: running on Map 0.

map 0 bypasses jb4, so it isn't having any affect on your car at that point

no idea what happened, it certainly wasn't anything with the tuning

On menu 10 in dash with JB4 set it to 0 to get the burble /crackle back . It will open up your Default waste gate position up .

jb4 sets your wastegate position a little higher to help with wastegate rattle. you can lower it or set future D to 98. It will sound all poppy at low speeds and fix boost lag at higher speeds.

Menu 10 & RPM 0 sounds like turbo lag city.

Enable Future Use D value set at 98. Put menu 10 back to 3000ish.
